Dr. Greenfield is an experienced clinical neuropsychologist, specialized in assessing, diagnosing, and creating tailored treatment plans for children, adolescents, and young adults. For over 15 years, Dr. Greenfield has helped hundreds of patients better understand and leverage their cognitive strengths to support identified challenges in areas of cognitive, behavioral, academic, and/or socioemotional functioning.
Dr. Greenfield also has experience conducting independent educational evaluations (IEE) as a part of a student’s special education planning (IEP), assessments to support accommodations on a variety of standardized examinations (SAT/ACT/GRE etc.), and gifted assessment to determine formal for formal educational enrichment programs (private and public schools).
Approach
As a mother to three boys, Dr. Greenfield understands that no two children are the same! As such, she believes in a "whole child" approach to understanding each student. She works to identify a child's unique strengths and weaknesses in order to make meaningful, effective recommendations. Dr. Greenfield's assessments provide parents, teachers, and treatment team members with answers as well as an evidence-based roadmap that supports academic goals and social-emotional well-being.
Education &
Clinical Background
Dr. Greenfield earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn). She then completed her doctorate at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, with an emphasis on neuropsychology and cognitive behavioral therapy.
Dr. Greenfield's clinical training has included placements at UC Irvine Medical School's Psychiatry and Human Behavior Department, Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center, and Pasadena Rehabilitation Institute. After completing her doctoral requirements, Dr. Greenfield completed a 2-year postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at Insight Collective in Los Angeles, CA.
Dr. Greenfield's training has included extensive focus in assessment, presentation, and careful differential diagnosis of:challenges related to: neurodevelopmental challenges (e.g., ASD, ADHD, learning disorders); challenges that commonly present in childhood through early adulthood (e.g., OCD, Tics/Tourettes); as well as other challenges that affect one's ability to regulate their emotions, behavior, and thinking.

Research Background
Dr. Greenfield is the former Director of Training at Insight Collective's graduate-level training program in pediatric neuropsychology, a program she developed alongside Dr. Oren Boxer. For the past 9 years, she has trained practicum and postdoctoral psychology students from a variety of doctoral-level schools across the greater Los Angeles area in the clinical practice of pediatric neuropsychology. She remains an adjunct clinical supervisor at the program, overseeing students in areas of neuropsychological assessment skills, case formulation, diagnostics, and report writing.

Dr. Greenfield has presented at local and international conferences on topics such as neurocognitive and psychological impact of pediatric oncology treatment; learning differences and executive functioning; the impact of visual-spatial deficits on reading comprehension; and cognitive markers for college readiness. Dr. Greenfield has published work on neuropsychological and psychosocial issues resulting from traumatic brain injury and specific genetic micro-deletions.
